Wheelchair and Walkers Given to Elderly in Kemanggisan

West Jakarta Mayor, Yani Wahyu Purwoko, distributed one wheelchair and three walkers to Kemanggisan residents at Jami Al Hidayah Mosque, Jalan Kemanggisan Ilir X, RT 06/08, Kemanggisan, Palmerah.

Assistance is given to help residents who really need it

The assistance was given as a part of Jumat Berfaedah program to help elderly residents who need walking aid.

"Assistance is given to help residents who really need it. Besides, we also want to meet residents and mosque caretakers," he mentioned, Friday (1/28).

Moreover, his side also provided financial aid to 10 orphans, mosque caretakers, and 300 meals for mosque congregations.

"We also facilitate mosque caretakers to certify their mosque. Currently, there are 18 mosques that have been given certificates," he added.

One of RT 15/08 Kemanggisan residents, M. Yunus (82) expressed his gratitude for assistance provided by the West Jakarta Government in form of the wheelchair.

"I have difficulty in walking. This wheelchair can make it easier for me to move. I am grateful for this assistance," he conveyed.
